NetXpress uses a secure login. This means your Username and Password
are encrypted to prevent anyone from seeing them as they are transmitted.
Once your details are confirmed, NetXpress places a cookie (like an electronic
post-it note) on your computer to identify it. NetXpress then returns
to standard mode, which is much faster.
Your browser must have cookies enabled for NetXpress to function. The
cookie will remain on your computer while you are logged in to NetXpress.
Once you logout, it will be removed automatically.
Note: Internet Explorer 4 does not use the word cookies but talks
about putting information on your computer. This is the same as
a cookie, and you will need to select yes. |
|
To establish if your browser has cookies enabled you can check your browser
settings. For example, in Internet Explorer 5.5 you would click Tools
from the menu and then select Internet Options - Security Settings
and then click the Custom Level button. This will open a new window. Scroll
down to the Cookies section and ensure Allow per-session cookies
is enabled. Then click the OK button to save these changes.
If you do not have access to change your Internet Options you will need
to contact your organisation's System Administrator.

The back button on your browser will normally take you back to the previous
page. In certain sections of NetXpress, you will see an additional Back
button. If you would like to go back to the previous page and you see
one of these buttons, you should use it instead of your browsers back
button. The reason for this is that some information is passed through
from your browser and pressing the back button on your browser may send
the wrong information. |

A billing system designed to break large Corporate Express customers
into groups responsible for their own expenses. On the consolidated end
of month invoice, each of these Cost Centres will be itemised separately.
Examples of a Cost Centre could be a work group, team or department. Cost
centres would receive either priced or unpriced delivery dockets with
their deliveries. |

your order from time to time. |

If you wish to use the receipting function this number can be used. |

NetXpress is an Internet based ordering system that enables you to buy
your office and computer supplies via any web browser. It can be customised
to support the customer's objectives. |
|
|
This function is available for you to use if you need to return a product
to Corporate Express. It is located under the support menu. A Customer
Support Representative will contact you with a Return Authorisation (RA)
number. |
|
|
An open order is one that has not yet been submitted to Corporate Express.
There is no limit to the number of open orders that can be worked on simultaneously.
They are all saved automatically. These orders can be completed at a later
time by selecting one, clicking Complete Order, following the prompts
and clicking Submit Order. |
|
|
Some customers may need to seek approval for orders from their management.
NetXpress provides a simple system for this. Enter your order normally
and when you complete the order it will be submitted automatically for
approval. Managers will be notified of orders awaiting approval via email
and can review them at their leisure. |
|
|
This is a unique number given to each order that is created. It is always
prefixed by NET. |
|
| |
| This is an optional
reference you can attach to the order. It will be linked to the NetXpress
order number as an additional means to identify your order. |
|
|
Order Tracking allows you to follow your order from the time it arrives
at the Corporate Express warehouse to the time of dispatch on a delivery
van. |
|
|
Product Codes are assigned to each product within NetXpress. Your company
may have its own codes which are incorporated into the system. If this
is the case they can also be used as equivalent codes. The codes on NetXpress
are identical to the hardcopy catalogues. |
 |
|
